Manikarnika Ghat is located in Banaras city of Uttar Pradesh. This Ghat is a shamshan ghat. This place has great importance in Hindu religion. This Ghat is also known as Mahashamshan Ghat. Manikarnika Ghat is one of the 84 Ghats of Banaras, after the death of a person belonging to Hindu religion, the last funeral or cremation is done at this Ghat or Harishchandra Ghat. A festival is organized every year on the seventh night of Chaitra Navratri at Manikarnika Ghat Banaras.
